Boys and Girls Club members may not skip school following a doctor’s appointment and come to the Club. If there is time for the child to return to school, they must check back in. The Boys and Girls Club does not promote skipping school.
If your child gets suspended from school, you may bring them to the Club. We will put them to work with school work or cleaning the facility. Lunch will not be provided. Please be sure to contact the Club office at least a day in advance to make arrangements.
Girl’s clothing must cover their stomach area. Boys may not wear sleeveless undershirts and pants must fit securely around their hips. Hats and bandanas may not be worn in the Club at any time.
Shoes must be worn at all times!
No, no, no!!!! We realize kids like to bring their favorite things with them at all times. However, children leave these things unattended or misplace them altogether. In order to reduce loss, we ask if your child brings an item to the club, that it be clearly marked with your child’s name. If your child brings money for various purposes, we advise the money be turned over to the staff.
