Education and Career

Power Hour~ Power Hour is one hour Monday-Thursday where all members work on homework, study, or get tutored.

Career Launch is a career exploration and mentoring program for middle school members. The program explores careers, identifies training or college requirements, seeks out financial aid and skills-building.

Goals for Graduation introduces High School Club members to the concept of academic goal setting. The program provides for recognition of members' achievements at every step of the journey.

Goals for Growth introduces Middle School Club members to the concept of academic goal setting. The program provides for recognition of members' achievements at every step of the journey.

Middle School Leadership~A club for ages 11 to 13. Members elect officers and plan and implement their own activities and community service projects. Each Club receives an official charter from Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

High School Leadership~A club for ages 14 to 18. Members elect officers, choose their own activities and plan and implement community service projects, A national charter entitles a them to participate in regional and national BGCA Keystone conferences.

Health and Life Skills

The SMART Moves (Skills Mastery and Resistance Training) prevention/education program addresses problems such as drug and alcohol use and premature sexual activity. 

SMART Kids~ Ages 6-9 year olds

Start SMART~ Ages 10-12 year olds

Stay SMART~ Ages 13 &up

 Fitness & Nutrition~teaches healthy habits and increase the number of hours they participate in physical activities.

One Economy’s Digital Connectors Program~ identifies talented young people, immerses them in technology training, and helps them build their leadership and workplace skills to enter the 21st century economy. Digital Connectors  learn about career opportunities through site visits to technology companies, job shadowing experiences, and campus tours.
